Heartbroken writing this post, so I'm just going to rip the band-aid off. Our next event for 02/08/25, unfortunately has been cancelled. The Breakroom Bar & Grill was just sold, and we just can't afford the rental fee.

The harsh reality is that businesses, particularly small businesses, are closing every day. Even though we still came out and supported The Breakroom, it was no where near enough to keep them afloat.

​

While The Glamazon Lounge doesn't yet have a physical location, we have also been struggling to keep up with fees and costs associated with running a business. And the decline in attendance has impacted our ability to continue events.

​

We will continue to operate as a social club with scheduled Meet & Greets throughout Tampa Bay. Join our FB group The Glamazon Lounge to keep in touch and get all the details on upcoming meetups.

The Glamazon Lounge is my baby. It breaks my heart every time we lose a venue, seeing a fellow local business close, it saddens me to see less and less people show up to our parties. And since the beginning of me taking over Club Plush, and creating The Glamazon Lounge, I have mentioned that these events are for you. As long as you show up. Providing a safe space for people of size isn't just a promise, it's a mission. And I cannot do it without each and every one of you.

I don't know what's in store for TGL, like I mentioned we will operate as a social club for now, but we still need you! Thank you for your continued support. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience or trouble, this sudden change may have caused, and I'd to leave you with some words DJ Roc shared with me, "there's something bigger and better planned for all of us".
